SECO 2019 is being held in one of the world's truly unique cities, New Orleans, Louisiana. Rich in history and culture, the Crescent City is known for it's food, music and architecture. The recently renovated Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is the sixth largest in the country. Here is some information to assist with your travel plans to SECO 2019.

Travel Assistance

Air Travel

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is the gateway to one of the most exciting cities in the world - New Orleans, legendary for its history, food and good times. The airport is located about 15 miles from downtown New Orleans. It is one of the fastest-growing airports in America and has one main passenger terminal with four concourses. A new 35-gate, $993.7 million airport terminal is currently under construction, and set to open in February 2019.

Ground Transportation

There are many transportation options between the airport and downtown New Orleans and you are sure to find one to fit your needs.


Taxicab booths are located on the first level of the Terminal outside of Baggage Claim Belts 1 and 14. Passengers must wait in line at one of these booths for taxi service. Taxi rides cost $36 from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) or French Quarter for up to two (2) passengers. For three (3) or more passengers, the fare will be $15 per passenger. Taxis are required accept credit card payments.


Uber and Lyft offer transportation services from the Airport. Passengers can meet their app-based ride service outside of the Ground Transportation Center located on the first floor of the Short-Term Parking Garage by crossing the pedestrian crosswalk located outside of Baggage Claim 6.

Airport Shuttles

Shuttle service is available from the airport to hotels and various other locations in the New Orleans for $24 (per person, one-way) or $44 (per person, round-trip). These fares include three (3) bags per person. Additional baggage may be subject to additional fees. Passengers can purchase tickets at the Airport at Airport Shuttle ticket booths located on the first level throughout the Baggage Claim area. Please visit for more information.

Airport Limousines

A-Airport Limousine is the official luxury transportation service provider for Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Passengers can request service at one of the A-Airport Limousine's convenient kiosks located in the Baggage Claim area. Rates range from $58 for two (2) passengers to $118 for eight (8) passengers. Car Rentals

The Consolidated Rental Car Facility (CONRAC) is located a short walk away from the main terminal. Passengers should exit the Baggage Claim area (first level) near Belts 12-14 and continue to the right down a covered walkway to the CONRAC.
