General What are the event dates and location?
The SECO & AFOS Destination Eye to Eye Las Vegas will take place September 15-20, 2026, at Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada.
General Can I attend just one part of the meeting (AFOS or SECO only)?
Yes. Registration packages are available for different portions of the program:
- AFOS Only Program (Sept. 15-16) – for military and federal optometrists attending the dedicated AFOS program.
- AFOS & SECO Full Program (Sept. 15-20) – full conference access including both AFOS and SECO programming for all optometrists.
- SECO Only Program (Sept. 17-20) – for all optometrists and allied healthcare professionals (Opticians, Paraoptometrics, and Technicians) attending the SECO portion.
Specific package names, inclusions, and pricing will be confirmed and published with registration.

General Why attend Eye to Eye Las Vegas?
Eye to Eye Las Vegas brings together military, federal, and civilian optometrists – as well as allied healthcare professionals – in one place at the same time. Here is what you can expect:
- Up to 38 hours of COPE accredited CE for optometrists (26 SECO Program hours + 12 AFOS Program hours)
- Up to 22 hours of CE for Allied Healthcare Professionals (Opticians, Paraoptometrics and Technicians)
- Dedicated AFOS programming including Service Chief Breakout Sessions, Poster Session, and the Annual Membership and Awards Banquet
- Daily breakfast and lunch symposia for both optometrists and AHPs (Thursday – Saturday)
- Exhibits featuring companies and products relevant to your practice
- Sponsor Showcase with raffle prizes
- Special evening events including the AFOS Welcome Reception, Friday Evening Reception, and organized excursions
- Camaraderie with fellow colleagues from across the profession
- All of this at Paris Las Vegas, one of the most iconic properties on the Las Vegas Strip

Registration What does the registration fee include?
Registration packages and pricing will be published when registration opens. Generally, packages are organized as follows:

Registration Is on-site registration available?
Limited on-site registration may be available, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged to ensure your space and preferred package.
Registration What is the cancellation and refund policy?
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@secostaff.com no later than 11:59 PM ET on August 15, 2026.
- Cancellations received by August 15, 2026 will receive a refund of the registration fee, less a $50 administrative fee
- No refunds will be issued for requests received after August 15, 2026
- Federal registrants: cancellations due to unforeseen government funding restrictions or travel bans may be considered with documentation, at AFOS discretion
- Registrations may be transferred to a colleague at no additional charge with written notice at least 7 days before the event start date
- No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows or unused registrations

Registration Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?
Yes. Registrations may be transferred to a colleague at no additional charge. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to info@secostaff.com. Transfer requests must be received at least 7 days before the event start date, and the substitute attendee must meet any registration or eligibility requirements applicable to the original registrant.
Continuing Education How many CE hours are available?
- AFOS Program (Sept. 15-16): Up to 12 CE hours
- SECO Program for Optometrists (Sept. 17-20): Up to 26 CE hours
- AFOS & SECO Full Program: Up to 36 CE hours total
- Allied Healthcare Professional Program (Sept. 17-19): Up to 22 CE hours
Continuing Education When will the CE schedule and speaker lineup be available?

Continuing Education What accreditations apply to optometrists?
AFOS CE sessions at Eye to Eye Las Vegas are COPE accredited and targeted specifically for Military, PHS/IHS, VA, and Federal optometrists, residents, and students.
SECO CE sessions will be COPE accredited, FL/SC and TX CE Broker approved, and approved for Illinois. For Allied Healthcare Professionals, SECO will submit to ABO, FL/SC and TX CE Broker. Attendees are encouraged to verify the specific CE requirements of their individual state licensing board.

Hotel & Travel Is there a host hotel with a group rate?
Yes. Eye to Eye Las Vegas will be held at Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. A dedicated group room block is available for all attendees.
- Federal Government Rate: $126 per night (a government ID is required to confirm eligibility for this rate)
- Non-Federal / Civilian Group Rate: $175
We strongly recommend booking early within the group block to secure your rate and stay close to the conference. A booking link will be provided during the registration process.
Hotel & Travel What airport should I fly into? What are my transportation options?
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is the closest major airport, approximately 3.5 miles from Paris Las Vegas, roughly a 10-minute drive depending on traffic.
Transportation options from LAS to Paris Las Vegas:
- Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) or Taxi: Estimated 10-15 minutes. Typically the fastest and most convenient option.
- Rental Car: Available at the airport. Parking is available at Paris Las Vegas.
- Las Vegas Monorail: The monorail connects several Strip properties and may be a convenient option depending on your arrival terminal.
- Direct flights operate from nearly every major U.S. city
Hotel & Travel Are meals included with registration?
Breakfast and lunch symposia are included for SECO programming (Thursday through Saturday) for both optometrists and allied healthcare professionals. AFOS programming includes meals on Tuesday and Wednesday as part of that program.
Specific meal inclusions by package will be confirmed and published with registration details.
Guests Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Guests are welcome to join you at Eye to Eye Las Vegas. Guest registration includes access to exhibits and select social events. Guests may not attend CE courses or sessions.

- AFOS Exhibits (Full program and/or AFOS registrants)
