Courses offered at this meeting are not COPE-accredited. There is a common misconception that continuing education must be COPE-approved to be valid for license renewal; however, this is not true for most states. Only a small number of states require COPE-accredited CE.

Many state boards accept continuing education provided by nationally recognized organizations such as AOA, AFOS, and SECO without the need for separate COPE approval. Attendees are encouraged to verify the specific CE requirements of their individual state licensing board.
