SECO International will implement several infection control and prevention guidelines for SECO 2022 and will ensure our plans follow recommendations from public health experts and standards set by the federal, state, and local governments. We expect that safety guidelines and measures will continue to evolve and will update this page and communicate these details as they become available.

Testing or Vaccination Requirements:

All individuals (age 5 years or older) must provide proof of at least two does of the COVID vaccine, except for those who have received one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (booster not required to date) OR a negative PCR, molecular, or antigen test (printed results with name, date, and results) within 72 hours before entry into any indoor facility. It is important to note that with testing, the report must list the individual’s name, date of the test, and results clearly visible on the official report.

Face Masks:

The City of New Orleans lifted the face mask mandate on Thursday, March 3, 2022.  The use of face masks are encouraged.

In addition to SECO’s safety protocols, the New Orleans Ernest M. Morial Convention Center has achieved GBAC STAR™ accreditation through the Global BioRisk Advisory Council, which certifies that the facility is implementing the industry’s highest standards of cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention and is the leading standard of prepared facilities.
