All SECO 2024 speakers are required to disclose relevant financial and non-financial relationships or lack thereof. They must, at the beginning of their sessions or presentations, include a disclosure statement. The purpose of the disclosure requirement is to promote transparency in the design, development, and presentation of courses offered for SECO CE credit. The provision provides attendees with a complete context in which to evaluate the speaker’s information. To report a speaker disclosure issue, stop by the Education Office or email us at education@secostaff.com. All attendees will also be asked to submit feedback from each course via our Verification of Attendance (VOA) system.

One hour of credit at SECO is equivalent to 50 minutes of actual class time. Additionally, attendees are permitted a 10-minute break during a one-hour accredited course. Please note, punctuality is crucial. If attendees join a course more than 10 minutes after it starts or exceed the allocated 10-minute break, they won’t be eligible for that course’s credit. This is not a SECO-specific rule, but a policy mandated by accrediting agencies, which we strictly adhere to ensure the credibility and quality of our education.

The Symposium Series comprises complimentary, non-accredited sessions generously sponsored by industry partners. Each of these informative symposia is accompanied by a free meal for attendees. Remember to pre-register, as spots fill up quickly and once capacity is reached, registration will close.

While pre-registration ensures your spot, on-the-day entries may be possible based on availability. We can’t guarantee entry for these walk-ins, but we do suggest attendees to join the standby line outside each symposium. This provides the opportunity for unreserved seats to be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, offering potential access to these insightful presentations.
